“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”
Ephesians 6:18
The apostle Paul has just finished stating that the Christian life was warfare in the previous verses of Ephesians 6. We should never pray because there is nothing else to do. We should pray because it is the best thing to do. We can always pray regardless of time or situation. When the Holy Spirit of God finds a believer who is interested in glorifying the Lord Jesus, watch out! Things are going to start happening. The church today must learn to once again live on its knees. Every great movement of God began with His people crying out to Him. Oh, what a Savior we have! We should always be in contact with Heaven through prayer.
