About Salvation

Becoming a Christian
God has a purpose for each of our lives. Each of us are not here by accident. He loves us so much and wants to have a personal relationship with you.Sin is the one thing that seperates us from that relationship with God. God tell us in the Bible that we have all sinned against him and it is this sin that seperates us from a relationship with him.
So, you may ask yourself what do I have to do to become a Christian and have a personal relationship with God.
First, you have to ADMIT that you are a sinner and repent. God’s word tells us:
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.” Acts 3:19
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
Second, you have to BELIEVE that Jesus is God’s son and accept God’s gift of forgiveness from sin.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
Third, you have to CONFESS your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior andLord
“That is thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;andwith the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek; for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9 – 13
It’s as simple as ABC, Admit your a sinner, Believe that Jesus is God’s son and Confess your faith in Christ Jesus.
